Still, my site is an independent platform where students can read factual reviews and make the right choice. In this little survey, you’ll find the review of Academized and be able to study the features of this company. Is Academized good or bad? Let’s get it right.

What is Academized?

Academized is a resource where you can order writing an academic paper, simple as that. You choose a writer or just leave an order and get a ready-made paper. Communication with the authors is carried out through chat, without personal contact. At first glance, the system is well thought out. Let’s now move on to its features in more detail and see if this is actually so.

What kinds of papers do they write?

When you look at the list of services that Academized tender, you may be surprised at their wide range. The company offers different types of student papers (starting from standard essays to complex thesis works), carries out tasks in the field of math and science, as well as does proofreading and rewriting your paper or article. Paper rewriting means creating a text similar in content to the one that you already have but written in a different way. In fact, it’s a good chance to make the text easier to read and understand and, of course, to get rid of plagiarism. As you can see, they offer to do any kind of work for you, but it’s all about the quality.

Academized writers

A lot of academized reviews stated that all the writers of this company are Ph.D.’s/Masters, real experts with diplomas in the relevant field and, of course, native English speakers. Can we believe it? As you know, trust everyone, but always cut the cards.

In fact, I have no clear proof that Academized cheats their clients and that their writers are not real. But there is indirect evidence. When you open the list of available authors, you just see a set of obscure profiles. All you can choose is the number of custom feedbacks and the field in which a certain author specializes, such as business, math, etc.

When you open a writer’s profile, you don’t see his or her photo, name, data about education, etc. You can’t check whether he or she is a real expert in the field you need. Most likely, this is just an ordinary student and there is no guarantee that he will write your paper well. More to the point, there are no assurances that the author is a native speaker and you won’t have to correct a bunch of errors in your essay.

Design. Is their site good?

Let’s make it clear: this site isn’t the best one. It has lots of problems, from the writers to the quality of papers. But even if it’s not the best paper site in the world, it still has strong sides – and the design of the site and its usability are one of these strong sides. No, it’s not the best design I’ve seen, but it’s quite convenient – the pages don’t look overloaded, every button is exactly where you expect it to be, and in general, it looks very simple.

We also like the mobile site, because it’s also fast and easy to use – even if you haven’t used any similar services before, you’ll not have any problems with it. You want to chat, you click “Chat Now”, you want to upload a file, you click “Upload files”, you want to enter paper details, you click on the “Paper details” button. It’s simple as that.

How to place an order?

There is nothing unusual about the order process. On the home page of the site, you’ll find a form to fill out. Here you need to choose the currency that is convenient for you, type of service, kind of student paper and, of course, the number of pages. All this will affect the final price that you ‘ll see at once. If you’re satisfied with the price, you’ll need to specify other details such as topic, title, the field of science, etc. You can also choose the desired format, a number of sources, type of space, academic level of your paper, how soon you need finished work and, what is more, you can attach additional materials. Thus, this procedure will take some time.

That’s all well and good, but when I placed the order, the site for some reason got stuck. It became impossible to attach documents, all entered data were reset and everything had to be started anew. It is hard to say whether it was a one-time error or the site was simply poorly optimized.

Price of the services and payment methods

Pricing is fairly standard. The minimum Academized price starts at $13 per page. Still, the final price depends on many factors, such as the type of service (proofreading is much cheaper than an academic paper), the number of pages (of course, large works demand more effort, which means they cost more), the complexity of the paper topic (as a rule, writing an essay on literature is easier than a research paper in chemistry), and the deadline (if you want to pay less, order services in advance, because the closer the deadline the more expensive your paper will be). To pay for services, you can choose a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.

Everything seems to be OK. In fact, there are many pitfalls, namely, hidden payments that you don’t know about. For instance, if you want to choose a writer yourself from the list of profiles or choose a UK author, be prepared that 10% will be added to the cost. If you want your task to be completed by the high-rank expert, you need to pay 25% more. If you’re not ready to pay, any free author will take your order and you can’t even check his rating. This means that even a regular one-page essay will cost you more than just $13.

Special discounts

The discount system is disappointing. They offer only three bonuses that are not very impressive. If your paper contains more than 15 pages, you can get a 5% discount. Paper with more than 50 pages will bring a 10% discount. And if you need to write more than 100 pages, you’ll get a 15% discount.

The disadvantage of these bonuses is that with the greatest probability you can get only the first type of discount. Huge papers that contain 50 or even more pages are not so common and will be very expensive. So do not rely heavily on these bonuses. The only advantage is that these discounts are a lifetime.

What is more, the main page contains a section with false bonuses. They offer you to place an order right now and get free outline development, plagiarism test, a list of references, a cover page, whereas usually these services cost up to $70. So the client has the feeling that he makes a good deal. But what really? Such services are usually included in the price of your paper. Thus, this is simply an illusion of a discount.

The quality of papers

Perhaps this is the most important point in the review. Quality is what each student comes to the custom writing company to get. I have already said that the main drawback of the Academized is that you cannot know exactly which author will take your order. And for an expert writer, you’ll have to pay almost half the cost of the entire order (and still there are no guarantees that the fish work will be done well; this expertness can be defined simply by a high rating). To ensure the quality of services, I ordered two small essays from a regular author and an expert.

The paper from the most expensive expert writer was quite mediocre. It was free of plagiarism, but with minor errors and with nothing impressive in content. The work was done, but was it an A+ paper? Not even A.

The second essay made by a regular author was a sheer disappointment. It does not seem that he was written by a native speaker because of many mistakes. Also, it was plagiarized. This makes me understand that Academized is not plagiarism-free.

Delivery time

Perhaps the delivery time is the only positive thing about this resource. Their writers work fast enough no matter what deadline you set. If you need your two-page essay to be written in a week, they’ll do it. If you want your 30-page thesis work to be done in 2 days – they’ll do it as well. Moreover, you can set the deadline even in a few hours and it will be okay (the shortest time is 3 hours). It’s only about the price. The faster you need your paper to be done, the more you’ll have to pay.

Still, writers often ask for an extension of the deadline. Therefore, if you want your work to be done exactly on time, try to have at least two days left if suddenly the writer asks for additional time for revision or in case you don’t like the result.

Client service

There is a live chat here, so you can always send a message to a support manager. They usually respond in a few minutes, so you won’t have to wait. But still, the client support isn’t perfect here.

Thus, you will have to pay if you want to have one certain agent who will control your order and help you. Academized has two types of premium support – one of them costs $6 and the second costs $10 (if you choose the latter, your manager will help you to control the process of writing). It’s not that expensive, yes – but don’t forget that you’ll also have to pay for a summary, for proofreading, and for originality report.

In general, the support is OK here. It’s not great, yeah, but it’s not that bad either – the agents respond quite fast, and they solve the users’ problems. But I really don’t like the fact that you’ll have to pay for better support.

Additional services

Let’s talk about the extra features first, and then I’ll explain where is the problem.

• Choosing the writer level. You can get the writer who is available now for your task – it’s free, and this option is available for all the users. But you can also hire a “Premium” writer (the cost of the task will increase by 25%), or you can order one of the top-10 writers – in this case, you’ll pay 30% more.
• Anti-plagiarism. You pay $22 and get a 100% plagiarism-free paper, it’s simple.
• Proofread by a professional editor. If you don’t want to edit the paper yourself, you can pay $11 and get a proofreading service.
• Customer support. Basic support is free, but if you want to have a certain manager who will control the process, you’ll have to pay $6. You can also pay $10 and get professional support – in this case, the manager will also control the work of the writer.

Do you see the problem here? It’s the extra payments that are a problem. You will have to pay at least $33 to make sure that your paper is plagiarism-free and that there are no typos and mistakes. These features must be added to a standard package, but they shouldn’t be paid.

Academized reputation

What I don’t like is that it looks like Academized.com wants to create a fake reputation. I can’t say that it’s 100% true, yes, but it looks like this – there are tens of “false positive” reviews that look very unnatural. What do you think when you see lots of reviews with generic names and stock photos? What if these reviews do also use emotional language? And what if the feedbacks look similar and if there is a spike in the number of reviews during a short time frame?

Well, you can say that it’s just a coincidence, of course – I am sure that it’s exactly what Academized representatives would say. But I am sure that it’s a little suspicious, so I can’t say that the reputation of this site is good. It looks like it’s perfect at first glance, but in reality, it’s fake – and if you go deeper and find some real reviews, you’ll find the truth. Summary

Sad to say, but Academized doesn’t look like a reliable custom writing service. Lack of a clear price list, hidden payments, unskilled writers, poor quality of papers and lack of free plagiarism checks – all this is the reason that the Academized ratings are so low. My overall score of academized.com service is 3.5/10 and I don’t recommend using the services of this site. My advice is to choose better writing service from the list of top essay writing services up to your needs.
